Thar be nuffin to update with :/ However, Thar be some news. Since I'm rather busy with work, I haven't had time to draw outside of work, so there's no real artwork to update with, in addition, since there's no new work I won't be at Anime North this year. I've had decent response to my artwork over the last few years and it's hard not to go, but I've not nothing new to offer those people who do buy my art. Maybe next year I'll have some body of work to display over the stuff that trickles in if/when I ever get time to work on things. Games and kung fu dominate my time these days, I have about 6 years of gaming to catch up on since I ignored the roots of my own artistic and creative ways while I was in school. Now that I have stable work and time, I'm playing through lots of newer and some older games that I missed out on. Also once some of the games I've worked on are released, I should be able to put up some of the pixel work I've done in the last year. |

Oh yeah. I totally thought I lost all the renders of my stuff from the summer of 04 when I dropped my hard drive. I lost a whole lot of meshes I was working on plus a rig of the felicia model I had. So in all I think I lost the long barrel g36, psg1 and most importantly the rig of felicia, so she's no longer posable until I decide to try and rig her again. Chances are though if I get enough time to play with 3d again, I'll start her over from scratch. But anyway, all the renders of her in progress while I worked on her are up, as well as her guns. |

So another Anime North disappears into the record books. I just barely managed to break even with a mutant of a sunday sales and commission day. I've never had a weekend at AN where I made the same amount of money on the sunday as I did the first 2 days of the con. I have photos of the commissions I did, and hopefully if and when this site stabilizes from whatever has been plaguing it for the last 2 weeks, I can post them up (along with some of the previous commissions I've done over the years at AN. Hopefully though, that today is when the site will start working again, and those of you who have picked up my card from AN, please keep in mind if you do wish to contact me through that email address there, that it will be disconnected at the end of June. There will be other ways to contact me after the email address is taken offline. I will be posting back up the email to contact me through this site in the near future after I find out if the php form mail that's been on the contact page is secure or not. There may be spammers about trying to hijack it after all. As for new art, always the slow trickle these days. Maybe there will be something in a few weeks when things settle down more with the site and work. |
